Day in the Life:

The Strategic Account Manager role is responsible for the success of The Bay’s existing vendor community by developing trusted relationships within accounts, creating new opportunities within the portfolio of The Bay’s services and products, and driving strategic growth.

We are looking for a collaborative, strategic, analytical and driven Account Manager to help redefine the value of The Bay platform and drive revenue growth across a set of vendors in a key business vertical.As the internal advocate for our retail vendors, the Account Manager will be a strong communicator, comfortable, analytical, and savvy with marketing strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Partnership Development
  • Own, drive, and manage the end-to-end customer relationship – ensuring customer satisfaction, renewal, and expansion
  • Maintain an accurate forecast for your territory and communicate any retention risk to internal resources in order to develop resolution strategies
  • Build solutions to drive strategic and positive outcomes for our vendor partners
  • Work with key product teams (media, insights, analytics, creative) to develop bespoke solutions for vendor partners 
  • Be the voice and champion of the customer to the product team and other cross functional organizations, and vice versa to our vendors!

What You Will Need:

  • College or University diploma in Marketing or equivalent
  • 3-5  years’ experience in a similar role with increasing responsibility
  • Experience in display advertising media planning, ad operations or sales is an asset
  • Knowledge of Omniture, Google Analytics, and data analytics platforms is an asset
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially with MS Excel
  • and Powerpoint
  • Business writing and presentation development
  • Client facing client management and meeting planning experience
